Description	Transfection Reagent I comprises the cationic lipid DOTAP and the neutral lipid DOPE. DOTAP is a surfactant with double chain quaternary ammonium. The DOTAP/DOPE liposome takes lamellar and inverted hexagonal structures. Transfection Reagent I is used in large unilamellar cationic vesicles (LUVs) preparation and lipoplex generation. It improves transfection efficiency.
