FF-MAS was first identified in follicular fluid of women and plays a key role in oocyte nuclear maturation. The levels of FF-MAS may be regulated by cytochrome P450 family 27 subfamily A member. Supplementation of FF-MAS to oocytes promotes meiotic maturation favoring preimplantation. |
