Description | CoQ8 is an isoprenoid quinone that enhances nonspecific resistance to bacterial infections. It stimulates phagocytosis in macrophages by modulation of the kinetics of the Fc receptor. It acts as an electron carrier from flavin protein to cytochrome complex in recombinant protein liposomes, and cytochrome O complex acts as a highly efficient ubiquitin-8 oxidase. |
